Brooke's First Softball Game!

This morning Brooke had her first softball game! Brooke did a great job hitting and catching the ball and running the bases.

While Mark, Icha and Bella were in Hawaii -- Ma and Michele flew down to L.A. for 3 fun filled days at Disneyland! Brett didn't make the trip... but rumors were circulating that his picture was spotted at various entrances to the park.

The girls took Ma out for dinner at the "Blue Bayou" restaurant.

A Birthday Party for Ma!

Last night all the Murnanes got together at Luke and Monica's house to celebrate Ma's birthday! It was great fun and a nice way to cap off the weekend.

Ma enjoys a luxurious meal laboriously prepared and cooked by her 7 children. (Especially the salad)


Maria and Pa enjoy a beer while Lauren tries to crawl up her auntie's arm.


After dinner all the little ones crowded around the 'cake' to sing "Happy Birthday" to Ma.


All 5 Murnane Grandkids helped Ma blow out her candle.


Ryan enjoys some ice cream -- note: proper use of spoon.

After dinner Brooke put on an amazing Magic Show! Below the Magical Brooke, along with her two assistants, makes a rabbit disappear and re-appear only minutes later!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Ma/Flo/Mom had a birthday yesterday! Bella was nice enough to pick out a present (a plastic plate!) for her, draw some pictures and write her name on her birthday card.

Breakfast at the Moreys

Last Sunday Mark brought the "Little Bellsters" over to Monica's house for a morning playdate with Brooke and Ryan. It was also a mini 'send off' breakfast for Maria... who took off for 9 nine days in Ireland the next morning.

The venerable and always on the go "Ma" has been down with a bad cold for nearly ten days! Ma has been resting all day... only getting out once and a while for a meal or a movie.

Maybe a diet of hot fudge sundaes and See's candy is not the best way to get healthy... but in the name of science, someone has to try it!
