Another Month.... Another Trip to Vegas

A few weeks ago Ma and Pa took yet another trip to Las Vegas. Rumor has it that the two of them will be enshrined into the Wayne Newton Hall of Fame sometime in the coming year.... speculation is also rampant that Mike and Flo may be on the verge of setting a new Guinness World Record: most trips taken to Vegas in a lifetime.

Pa show his 'perma-grin' indicating that he is due to arrive in Vegas in less than 24 hours.

For those of you not quite in the "Vegas Know" --- each casino offers 'player's cards' to entice gamblers to return to their machines and tables with loose promises of racking up points to be exchanged for free rooms, food and velour sweatsuits.

Ma shows off her world renowned collection of cards.

When is too many cards.... too many?

Perfect on Paper

Along with her many other accolades and accomplishments, Maria is now a published author! Maria's first book: "Perfect on Paper" is now available via Amazon.com and at finer bookstores.

Last night Maria had her first official book signing! It was a great event in which tons of people showed up to wish Maria well, buy a copy of her book and have the author herself sign their books.

Mark and Bella (who just woke up from a nap) pose with the next Danielle Steel.

Bella is a bit young for Chick-Lit but she sure does love Dora! Here she smiles with little Magenta, Mama and her new Dora book.

Another Round... Another Tie

A couple of weeks ago Mark, Rick, Monica and Luke returned to the links for another epic battle. As in just about every match during the last few years things started out strong for Mark and Rick... but another furious comeback by the Morey pairing ended up with Murnane/Scouffas down a meager $3.00.

The next battle is slated for 10am on Saturday, June 8th and Spring Valley G.C. in eastern Milpitas. Tickets are now on sale via stubhub.com

Rick shows off sensational form with his new clubs.

Monica lines up for a tee shot.

Another lost ball for the SCU grad.

Luke chunks one with his 7 iron.... who would have thought it would be the last shot ever taken with that club.

Golf can be an ugly game....
